CNEX (pronounced kuh•neks) is a new networking platform (self-created) that aims to reinvent how creatives connect. Networking is vital to success in every industry including the creative/design space, yet many find it intimidating and immoral. Inspired by the modern dating app, CNEX is a new, revolutionary way for creatives to network. The brief for this project was to design the logo, branding, UX and adverts for the new app. These elements needed to reflect CNEX’s key values; simple, neoteric, bold; and appeal to their target audience; soon to be or recent university graduates with creative degrees. Grids and geometric design were utilised to represent CNEX’s innovative mindset and also created a cohesive and recognisable brand style.
