Logo + Branding

I was tasked to design the branding and logo for the new (self-created) reusable period product brand ‘UP YOURS’. The brand’s main aims are to empower girls and to make make the earth a greener place. 200 million tampons, pads and liners end up in our eco-system every year, ‘UP YOURS’ wants to make disposable period products a thing of the past by normalising eco-friendly alternatives. The design needed to reflect ‘UP YOURS’ key values; Badass, Affordable, Eco-Friendly, Shameless and Comfy. All whilst appealing to their target audience (women aged between 16 and 25). The final concept is bold and shocking, reflecting the brazen approach ‘UP YOURS’ takes towards periods. Whilst the colour pink is often associated with femininity and hence looked down upon. ‘UP YOURS’ uses it proudly as a way to champion women.
